According to figures for 2012 published by Child Care of America, a
national childcare resource organization, there are currently 655,581
single parent families living in Florida. A single mom or dad has a
double load of parenting responsibilities, and may often feel isolated
and unsupported. It’s important for any family to have life insurance in
place to provide for children should a parent die prematurely, but
single parents – the group that probably has the most pressing need for
life cover – often lack this protection.

natural climate hazards. Knowing that homeowner’s, renter’s and flood
insurance coverage is in place provides reassurance that a catastrophic
event like a hurricane or flood should not have a disastrous effect on a
family’s financial situation.

life change and the transition to retirement often means a significant
reduction in income. Floridians who review their budgets when they
retire on a fixed income sometimes consider discontinuing the payment of
Florida life insurance premiums as a cost-cutting measure.
