Michael Planas came to A&B Insurance and Financial from the Hospitality Industry.  He has spent the last 10 years in various sales and marketing positions and has built up a reputation for his customer service. 

Since Michael’s background is from the Hospitality Industry, his ability to handle a wide array of clients and businesses small to large, has been his strong suit.  Michael has helped build a strong customer base in a short period of time and is one of our Senior Agents here at A&B Insurance and Financial. 

A veteran to many different networking organizations, Michael has built many professional contacts in the Tampa Bay area and around Florida.  He hails originally from the metro Washington DC area but has lived in Tampa for 7 years now. 

On a personal note, Michael is very active in his community, assisting in the planning and executing of several charity events and fundraisers for groups like the American Cancer Society, Moffitt Cancer Center, and others.  He has a huge love of everything sports and exercise and holds a special place in his heart for animals, including his two rescue dogs.
